I run a business and was raised in one that has lasted 117 years but I also find it is less common nowadays to run across a company that is run on respect for the old-school principles of honesty, value, and helpfulness as a path to profit. Rather than "profit first" .

So, I just started with them but I am happy to report that IDEAL Gas appears to be one of those companies!  Buddy Dingman, their sales manager gave me some good advice about a year ago even without me being a customer.  He treated me kindly back then and so when it came time to switch companies, IDEAL was my first choice.

Buddy helped me work through the math of owning my own tank. This year we’ve had ZERO issues with Ideal Gas and we can’t be happier! They get our tanks filled quickly and always at a great price.

Ideal Gas has Excellent Customer Service! We had a 500 gallon propane tank installed under ground with boring under the driveway also required. My rating is based on communication and the lack of transparency.   I had a technician show up unexpectedly.  Additionally, I was told that two tanks were delivered with some gas already in it; however, this was never communicated to me.  I later received an invoice that included the fee for this.  I voiced my concerns and was pretty much told to deal with it.  I will see how service will be after I need more gas amd maybe my review will change. This is my first time ever needing this sort of service and I am not happy. I was a bit concerned that “all gas companies are the same”, but Richard and his team at iDeal totally proved me wrong!  Switched from a big national provider and, for something as basic as gas, the difference is stunning!  They installed the tank thoughtfully, cheerfully ran new gas lines and hid everything beautifully.  And the cherry on top - yesterday they topped-up the tank WITHOUT me needed to call multiple times to schedule.  And the price was so much lower than the previous provider!

Sorry to have to give a poor review, I generally refrain from reviews unless really bad service or if service exceeds expectations.  With that said, called on 2/14/2022 to have tank filled.  As of 3/7/2022, tank has not been filled.  Called beginning last week for update, advised they would be out by COB or following day at latest.  Needless to say, not a satisfied customer. I had an amazing experience with Bob Bell. We bought our home this last year and needed a Gas Tank installed for a Generator we needed for emergencies at the property. Not only did they move a 1000 lbs tank into the perfect location underground, but installed the lines underneath our pavers perfectly to connect to our generator. They reinstalled the pavers so that we couldn’t tell they ever had moved them. Our generator works like a breeze and the gas lines work wonderfully. After the huge King of the Northeasterns Storm hit our property, we will never have to worry about losing power. The gas lines/tank worked with our Generator throughout the storm, to ensure that we had power no matter what. I highly recommend this company for all your Gas needs.
